Advance Global Communications, Inc

Advance Global Communications, Inc. is one of the top ten international VoIP (voice over internet protocol) telecom companies in the world, providing long distance service to almost every country on earth. The company’s customers are retail sellers of long distance services such as prepaid calling card companies, wireless carriers, VoIP companies, CLECs, and retail long distance carriers. These customers and the vendor carriers in the company’s network include some of the largest communications companies in the world, many of them household names. All of the company’s traffic leaves the company’s switches, using VoIP technology, which transmits the calls over the internet as packets of data that are then re-assembled as audible sound.

Most traffic arriving at the company’s switches are also in VoIP form, although some incoming traffic arrives using TDM technology which the company then converts to VoIP. TDM stands for “time division multiplexing”, the process in which multiple calls are sent over a single land line. Since AGC’s formation in 2001 by Messrs. Eduardo Brittingham and Horatio Lonsdale-Hands, the company’s strategy has been to become a dominant carrier to Mexico, which is the largest international calling destination in the world. International call termination is the core of the AGC’s activities. Utilizing recent technological advances in Internet protocol and compressed voice data management, AGC is able to sustain its commitment to high quality, low cost service by engineering a network of low maintenance, high capacity connections.

Cook’s Communications

Cook’s Communications is Central Californias premier radio communications company. Since 1946 Cooks has specialized in providing top quality and economical wireless service. So whatever your need is, Cook’s Communications can design a wireless system to suite your business requirements. For 60 years the name Cook has been synonymous with wireless communications in the San Joaquin Valley. However, what you might not know is the national impact that the name has had on the wireless industry nationwide. In 1947 a young Air Force veteran named Don Cook founded Electronic Specialties Company, a radio repair business. This company would later become known as Cooks Communications.

From these early beginnings few knew that the pioneering efforts of Don Cook would have a major impact on the wireless industry long before the word wireless became a part of their culture. A couple of the major products spearheaded by Cooks Communications included the Cooks Radio Pager, one of the first pagers imported into the US from Japan, and the Cooks Radio Telephone, a precursor to the cellular phones we use to this day. Today, Cooks Communications continues to lead the way in the two-way radio industry. Led by Bob and Peggy Cook, the company continues to provide radio service to Central California. In 1999 Cooks continued its pioneering ways by introduced the FleetStat AVL product line currently being sold through radio dealers nationwide.

Sunrize Communications

Sunrize Communications installs cabling for computer networks, telephone systems and video systems. This includes coax, shielded and unshielded twisted pair and all types of fiber optic cable. Their Technicians have worked for the largest companies in the Western United States running jobs consisting of data centers, hospitals, call centers and banks. Structured cabling design and installation is governed by a set of standards that determine how to wire a data center, office or apartment building for data or voice communications, using Category 5(CAT 5E) or Category 6 cable(CAT 6E) and modular sockets.

These standards define how to lay the cabling in a star formation, such that all outlets terminate at a central patch panel (which is normally 19 inch rack-mounted), from where it can be determined exactly how these connections will be used. Each outlet can be patched into a data network switch (normally also rack mounted alongside), or patched into a telecoms patch panel which forms a bridge into a private branch exchange (PBX) telephone system, thus making the connection a voice port. They can help plan and review wiring infrastructure and create a stable and efficient foundation for your network and phone system. Sunrize Communications provides customized structured cabling plans with the ability to expand, upgrade and reconfigure your wiring needs to meet current and future business demands.
